NAIROBI’S PALACINA HOTEL IN TAX EVASION SCANDAL

The management of a family owned five stars Palacina Hotel is in deep trouble with the tax man following reports that they have been evading taxes running into millions of Kenya shillings.

 Palacina hotel is accused of under declaration of taxes by their accounts department an act that has led to KRA losing hundreds of millions of shillings.

Information in our possession indicate that the management are colluding with some corrupt Kenya Revenue Authority officers to aid in this scandal

Recently a team of three investigators from KRA that had been sent to try and unearth the syndicate were allegedly bribed to a tune of Ksh. 5 million to conceal their findings. 

But according to a whistle blower, a member of staff at the hotel the ruthless management has turned the heat on employees accusing them of leaking damaging dossiers to authorities. Employees are constantly living in fear of victimization
