WHAT REALLY TRANSPIRED IN COURT INVOLVING NLC AND OFFICE OF THE DPP?

Commissioner Abdukadir Khalif  was  that the parcels of land that were paid for were not within the railway reserve, hence the conclusion that the monies were paid correctly.

The Office of Director of Public Prosecution’s (DPP) official twitter handle may have misreported the actual facts in the ongoing NLC court case. The officers handling the account may have misrepresented facts in the case as we shall show shortly. The @ODPP_K twitter handle was reporting about the case involving National Lands Commission officials using a series of photos of various individuals to drive their point home.

In the first photo, the photograph shown has nothing to do with the Ksh.109 M case; fact is the photo was taken during a different case involving the Embakasi SGR issue of Ksh. 221 M.

The @ODPP_K twitter handle also reported that commissioner Abdukadir Khalif  had told the court that he’d revoked 5 land titles along Embakasi railways due to allocation irregularities, the actual submission by Commissioner Abdukadir Khalif  was  that the parcels of land that were paid for were not within the railway reserve, hence the conclusion that the monies were paid correctly.

Another matter of concern that was misreported is that Dr. Konyimbih had presented committee minutes for July 2016 recommending to NLC CEO and chair to stop payments of land parcels that had integrity concerns and that his recommendation was not done, this is not true, in fact Commissioner Konyimbih cautioned the court not to rely on the said minutes as they were not a true reflection of what they deliberated upon. It’s photocopies that were presented before court and not original minutes. The Commissioner actually said, the matter was never brought to their attention and hence there was no need of consultation
