A man wants the police
to reopen investigations into the late George Saitoti’s son Zachary Musengi's real parents
claiming that he is Zachary’s biological father. He filed the matter at the high
court of Kenya in a civil case number 139
of 2019. In the suit he wants a DNA test carried between him, Saitoti’s widow
Margaret Wanjiku and Zachary Musengi Saitot.
Mr.Sebastian Main
said yesterday that he has confidence with Director of Public Prosecutions
(DPP) Noordin Haji and Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) boss George
Kinoti and wants to meet them over the matter.
He said he had been
looking for his son, renamed Zachary Musengi Saitoti, for 24 years and only saw
him during the funeral for Saitoti on TV. He claims his son was abducted
aged three and wants DNA tests done, even using remains of his deceased wife.
