Cases are emerging where
students are asked to pay upfront, or to give the first deposit as the
assignment is worked on, only for the receiver/researcher to begin excuses or
vanish with the money altogether.
“Are you stuck in your assignment, Proposal or are you busy not to complete essays? “I am here to solve your problem”. Institutions of Higher Learning are awash with these kinds of messages, stuck on notice boards, flooding the social media pages and text messages. Unbeknown to many students, some of these so called “Research Firms or Academic Writers” are operated by fraudsters.

Cases are emerging where
students are asked to pay upfront, or to give the first deposit as the
assignment is worked on, only for the receiver/researcher to begin excuses or
vanish with the money altogether. One case we highlight here concerns one Mr.
Benson Mathenge of Ink Academic Writers. Mathenge approached one PHD student at
a local university with the same proposal only to disappear with the money
without delivering as he had promised. The money was sent by Mpesa as shown
here.

Many people seldom mention the
most embarrassing experiences they have endured in life; being conned out of
your hard earned money is certainly one of them, especially for a university
student. Having someone dupe or manipulate you into losing your property is
probably one of the most traumatizing ordeals one can go through. Yet it happens
every other day in the corridors of institutions of higher learning, like it
happened to the PHD student who shall remain anonymous for now.
