The Engineer is said to have diverted county funds to his
personal gain by using the said funds to construct a 50 million shillings Le-Grand
Oyugis Hotel in his native Oyugis backyard, Homabay county.
The man, according to sources hails from Osije
village of Kasipul sub-county in Homabay. County funds were diverted through
kickbacks he received for constructions of several markets and liquor licencing
fees diverted through a parallel bank account at the Co-operative Bank of
Kenya.
Eng. Abaker was
appointed to the position by disgraced former Governor Evans Kidero. He has
never been brought to justice for the ills committed against the people of
Nairobi, unlike his colleagues now facing charges in various courts of law.

The streetwise and ever calculating Engineer has avoided
detection from investigative agencies who have so far failed in unearthing
details of a vast portfolio of properties strewn across the country that he
owns.
But sources close to
the engineer discloses that of late, following a series of recoveries from
proceeds of crime by the Asset Recovery Agency across the country, the man is
increasingly worried that investigators are soon closing in on him.
Sources also hinted that the engineer was behind several
schemes that saw taxpayers lose billions of shillings through shadowy firms at
the Kenya Pipeline Corporation.
The shadowy firms include Sealings and Seals Limited, Thermo
Dynamics general supplies Limited, Boiler petroleum supplies limited as well as
Nairobi General Supplies Limited.
Other properties owned by the Eng. which could be repossessed
by the State include a palatial mansion along Thika road as well as Several
residential plots in Kitengela.
